Hard, green- or black-coloured skin which is slightly ribbed 

The fruit can obtain the size of a fist

CONSUMPTION:

A ripe avocado is relatively firm, but will yield to gentle pressure when held in the palm of the hand and squeezed

Avocado is nearly only eaten as unprocessed fruit , it is delicious in combination with crab, ham or chicken.

Guacamole is pulp made of spiced avocado.

 

STORAGE:

Ripe avocado can be stored fro 2-3 days outside the fridge.
