DESCRIPTION:
Fresh "grapefruit-like" taste
Rich in vitamins and minerals
The ripened carambola is green to yellow in color with sometimes some brown spots at the rims.
CONSUMPTION:
No need to peel the Carambola, just take off the membrame from the rind with a sharp knife then slice. Carambola is often used as a decoration to dishes and fruit slalads.
Also used in fruit juices
STORAGE:
Ripe fruit in the fridge for about 1 week, unripe fruit at room temperature.
