SF & Sustainable airfreight

Special Fruit is the new partner of Air France KLM Martinair Cargo's SAF programme. With this agreement, we become the first consignee partner worldwide to support the airline's environmental initiative, reducing 90,650 kg of CO₂ in fresh produce airfreight, mainly Peruvian asparagus.

Through these actions, both companies demonstrate their vision for the future and their commitment to the sustainability of the airline industry, contributing to the commercial use and production of sustainable aviation fuel from organic waste and also supporting efforts to develop comprehensive green operations, on the ground and in the air.

The goal is to improve our industry by working together and sharing knowledge to create positive value while reducing the negative impact on the environment.
