Superfood from Peru
Peru is a country where biodiversity is paramount. With a very diverse climate, it can offer many delicious healthy fruits and vegetables: asparagus, mango, avocado, pomegranates or blueberries. The South American country has the soil where the superfoods family grows. You can find them on the coast, in the mountains or in the jungle.
All these delicious products were already consumed by the Incas and are known for their enormous nutritional value. As from week 9, the Wonderful variety of pomegranate starts the season, typical for its deliciously sweet flavour and attractive red colour. They have a very stable, beautiful quality that keeps for a long time. Above all, they are very healthy, high in fibre, anti-inflammatory and good for your skin. You can do many things with the seeds from the pomegranate. Use them in a smoothie, to pimp your cocktail, as a refreshing ingredient in a salad, as a healthy snack in between meals, .....
